DERMAL FILLERS

As we age our skin looses elasticity and hydration.  We also loose facial volume.  These factors lead to wrinkling, facial folds and other signs of aging.  Dermal fillers can actually soften and smooth away lines, restore volume and enhance your appearance.  Fillers are FDA approved, safe in-office procedures that provide immediate results.

JUVEDERM® INJECTABLE GEL

Juvederm® is a smooth gel formulation of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA naturally occurs in the skin and provides hydration and a youthful appearance.  As we age, the amount of  HA in the skin decreases and causes facial lines and folds.  Juvederm® can soften and smooth away these lines.  It can also restore volume and improve signs of aging.  The newest additions to this product line are Juvederm® Ultra XC and Juvederm® Ultra Plus XC.  The plus formulation is a more robust product.  XC is for “Extra Comfort” due to the addition of lidocaine, a common anesthetic.  This allows for a more comfortable experience. Results can last up to a year, however duration may vary.

RESTYLANE™ AND PERLANE®

Restylane™ and Perlane® are non-animal derived, particle gel hyaluronic acid fillers.  They are approved for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles.  They soften the appearance of these wrinkles, such as laugh lines.  Perlane® is a more viscous product that restores facial volume.  These products are now available with the addition of lidocaine.  Restylane-L™ and Perlane-L® provide added comfort during your treatment.  Results can vary from 6-9 months.

RADIESSE®

Radiesse® is calcium hydroxyl appetite microspheres suspended in a water based gel and injected into the skin to restore volume and soften lines.  This biocompatible product uniquely stimulates your body to produce it’s own collagen, which smoothes out the signs of aging.  Results can last up to a year or more, however durations may vary.
